Practice

Yaqi’s practice focuses on corporate, finance and contract law. She has experience in handling FIE matters, M&A transactions and international trade cases. She also participates in employment litigations. 

Education and Professional Experience

Yaqi graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University in 2010 where she gained her LLB Degree as well as an English Major Certificate. She then travelled to the United States and obtained an LLM Degree at Cornell Law School with a focus on Corporate and Finance Law. After passing the New York Bar Exam, Yaqi Joined Wenfei Law. 

During her college years, Yaqi gained professional experience from interning with Paul Hastings, Beijing office, where she worked mainly in the corporate and employment departments. She also completed an internship with Zhonglun Law Firm, Wuhan office, where she assisted the partners in various litigation and transaction matters.

Yaqi’s working languages are English and Mandarin.

Yaqi enjoys travelling, fine food and baking her own cakes.
